I have a 25 sheet Swingline stapler that I had been having lots of problems with. It wouldn't even staple through 15 sheets without the staples buckling. Then I realized that I was using "standard" Swingline staples. The stapler was guaranteed only with SF4 staples. So, I got 'em and they made the world of difference! No more problems with staples not being able to penetrate the paper. The stapler and the staples work great together. Lesson learned for me: Not all staples are created equal.

This is the staples that go with the Swingline stapler. I tried ones before and they did not fit although they were the same size. Only this one worked.
